Easter

We had a great Easter.  The kids enjoyed looking for Easter eggs, eating lots of treats, dying eggs, having a picinic and playing at the park.

We love going to this park.  Taylor could swing on this tire swing all day, and Whit loves that he can do these monkey bars now.
I gave them their lunch in Easter eggs too, they had so much fun finding out what they got to eat next.

Kayli loves to grab her toes and they even make it into her mouth sometimes.  The other kids think it is hilarious.

Whit's Birthday and more...

I can't believe my boy is 5 already.  He is growing up so fast.  He loves life.  Whit loves school and he always wants to be outside.  We love you Whit, Happy Birthday!!
Whit was so excited about his new skateboard for his Birthday.  He got to test it out inside for a few days first.

I let the boys make their own pinatas for his birthday party and then they got to bust them open.

We went to the Fire station for a playgroup.  The kids had fun sitting in the firetruck and trying on the gear.

I was expecting a lot more of this snow for the winter but fortunately we had a pretty mild winter in Milwaukee this year.  Whit loved all the snow we got though. It is much more fun when your prepared for it:)

 Taylor liked it for a minute then was ready to go back in.  I love how snuggly Kayli is in her cute snowsuit.

I love this cute girl.  I just can't get enough of her.

We had a fun Valentine's Day with these silly kids.

Taylor's Birthday

I can't believe my little girl is 3!  Taylor is such a joy to our family.  She is always so sweet and so fun to be around.  We love you Taylor.
Taylor's 3 year stats:   Height 35 1/2 in. tall, 28 lbs.

We still had the Christmas tree up so we decided to just put the presents under the tree and it was like Christmas all over again.

The kids had fun with Grandma.

December...

I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas. (Now that it is 3 months later:)

We had a great month and a lot of fun.  We missed out on some of our favorite "Richmond" traditions this year... the Live Nativity at the Zoo and the Tacky Lights Tour, but we did find "Candy Cane Lane" that has some decorated Christmas houses, Santa was even there to visit with.

We had a few friends over to make some Gingerbread houses (or graham cracker trains).  The kids had fun playing with friends and eating all the treats!

We had a fun night out at Chuck E. Cheese.

On Christmas Eve the kids got to open their Christmas jammies and then we watched a Christmas movie.


Christmas morning was very exciting.  Whit came in and woke us up at 7.  Thanks for letting us sleep in Whit!  Then he went in and woke Taylor up.
She was so cute, all she said was, "Heey! I was sweepeen!"
Whit said, "Lets go see if we were good!"
As soon as they get down the stairs Whit said, "I can't believe we were good!! This is the best Christmas ever!"
They had fun opening presents.  Whit was definitely the fastest at opening presents.  Taylor would open one and then play for a while until Whit talked her into opening another. 

Grandma came to visit after Christmas and got to stay for New Years and Taylor's birthday.

November...

We went to the zoo.  The kids had fun watching all the animals and running around.

My little Kayli girl is starting to smile some more.

These two kids are so funny.  They are playing a lot better together lately.  (I think Whit is supposed to be the Rockstar and Taylor is his biggest Fan:)  I love her in my boots, I just wish we didn't have hard wood floors.

Kayli's Baby Blessing
Kayli was Blessed on November 20th.  It was a great day.
My Mom made her beautiful dress.  She did a great job.  Thank you Mom, I love it!  She looked so sweet in her long flowing gown.

Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving was our first Thanksgiving with our little family.  It was nice to relax, spend the day together and eat yummy food.

Thanksgiving morning when I woke up I could hear Whit and Tay getting into something.  When we came downstairs,  we found Whit with the Christmas tree out of the box that he had pulled up from the basement.  He had been so excited to to put up the Christmas tree, he didn't want to wait one more day.  The kids had fun helping me put up the tree and all the Christmas decorations.

This was one Sunday after church the kids were having fun playing on the couch while I was trying to take some pictures. (... and Whit did not wear those clothes to church, he just comes home and changes before I can tell him to wait for a few minutes.)
